I didn’t create the initial version of this site, but the folks at CKA Creative in Seattle got in touch and asked if I would help out with a version 2 revamp. There were a few tweaks to the functionality of the CMS, but for the most part these were cosmetic, front-end enhancements. We switched the old fixed-width design to a newer, fluid responsive design with 3 breakpoints for mobile, tablet, and desktop screen sizes.
Behind the scenes, the site is powered by Processwire, a lightweight PHP CMS, which allows the client full control over the page content, images, and events descriptions. The responsive aspect of the front-end was encoded in Sass and includes a few custom-built mixins for managing the breakpoints.
